Who is Discreet Listing for?

Discreet Listing is available to all people in their property journey. Those who have found their dream home but worry about what they might get for theirs. Those who don't want everyone to know that they're thinking about moving. Those whose personal circumstances have changed. Those who could retire if they sold at the right price. Those who are investors and wish to sell with tenants in situ. Those who have been on the open market for some time and want to maintain market presence, without the value impact. Basically, anyone who is thinking of selling but for whatever reason doesn't want their personal business splashed around.

How will you secure maximum value for my property?

We firmly believe that buyers who have the opportunity to find the home of their dreams will pay full value to secure it. Unlike many off market sales, we don't just show it to a restricted database, but instead confidentially list on the main property websites. So through a combination of matching the maximum number of buyers with your specific requirements, we are confident that maximum value will be achieved.

Are you an estate agent and who do I contract with?

We are not currently an estate agent, but a tech-driven platform which matches off market properties to the appropriate buyers. However, in order to get your properties listed online and to make the sales process as smooth as possible, we work in partnership with a trusted network of local estate agents. Your legal agency contract will be agreed directly with them and you can agree the commercials too.

How will you ensure that my property is marketed confidentially and viewings are kept for serious buyers only?

All of our trusted agents have agreed to our strict marketing rules. This means no physical 'for sale' signs, no mass email marketing and no pictures online. Agents will only show the property to buyers who have requested that specification and can only request a viewing if the buyer confirms that they would be willing to offer at least the asking price.

What do you charge to use the service?

There's no catch, our service is free. We earn our money through charging agents a fee and additional property related services. You can negotiate any sales commission with the agent that sells your property directly.

Why should estate agents use Discreet Listing?

Agents will increase stock available to show their registered clients which closely match their criteria. These are properties which typically would not have been made available, either being sold privately, or not brought to market at all. Equally, if a client is considering taking their property off the market, then we provide an opportunity to keep the listing live. Discreet Listing is therefore complimentary to open market agency services and we encourage homeowners to choose the method that works best for them.
